We Left the Farm Behind…

We Left the Farm Behind... Sometimes you don’t need a big vacation. You just need to get away for a couple of days. This weekend, Diane and I packed up, brought Tyrion along, and headed to a secluded cabin in West Virginia to spend a little time with our friends Mike and Sherri. No big agenda. No long list of things to accomplish. Just mountain roads, quiet mornings, good food, friendship, and a chance to slow life down for a minute. At this stage of life, we’re realizing how easy it is to stay busy all the time — working, fixing, planning, taking care of the next thing. And sometimes the best thing you can do is simply leave it all behind for a weekend and remember what it feels like to breathe. Nothing especially important happened on this trip. And that was kind of the point. Thanks for coming along with us. #FieldAndFence #WestVirginia #WeekendGetaway #LifeInOur50s #CabinLife
